Introduction
The Town of Caledon, Community and Human Services Department is requesting submissions from organizations interested in providing a product or service at Caledon Day on June 15, 2024.
Caledon Day will be held on June 15 from 2:00pm to 10:00pm at Caledon East Community Complex, 6215 Old Church Rd, Caledon East, ON L7C 1J7. Caledon Day is in it’s 15th year and is expected to attract over 15,000 attendees on event day.
The Town is interested in receiving vendor applications that will enhance the existing event activities and provide a product or service for the event attendees. Please note, the Town will not grant any product or service vendor exclusivity at Caledon Day. All vendors must be onsite and open between the hours of 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
All responses must comply with the Town’s risk management and insurance requirements to be involved at a Town operated event. The Town reserves the right to decline submissions from applicants based on past experiences and interactions with Town staff and elected officials.
Individuals, groups, organizations or businesses that are interested are asked to complete and submit the below questionnaire.
The Respondent must be able to procure and maintain for the duration of the Agreement the following insurance against claims for injuries to persons or damages to property, which may arise from or in connection with the Respondent’s operations and use of the leased Premises:
Commercial General Liability Insurance with a limit between $2,000,000 and $10,000,000 each occurrence, dependent on the activity proposed.
The Town of Caledon shall be added as an additional insured and shall be given 30 days prior written notice for cancellation and coverage reduction of the said policy.
Process
Respondent(s) to submit their completed Response by the Submission Deadline of Friday, May 3rd at 5:00pm.
The Town will review all Respondent submissions and may contact Respondent(s) that the Town feels present the most favourable responses and are in alignment with the vision and mandate of the Town of Caledon.
The Town will determine the best suited submissions for consideration and advancement.
Respondent name and supplied information may be made public.
Insurance requirements must be met, and a certificate of insurance provided to the Town prior to commencing any program.
The Town of Caledon reserves the right to assign Vendors a spot based on overall event site plan needs. Vendors are not able to select where they are placed.
Submission Details
Interested parties are invited to submit the form below on or before May 3, 2024. The Town reserves the right to accept or decline submissions as a result of this form.
